Whoops!

I haven't really had a whole lot of time to myself lately, so I've been skimping on my blog. Sorry! :-( Whoops!

First, I need to plug an absolutely incredible band. They're called The Strive, and they're a local band. Their lead singer, Brendan(center), went to my high school. Anyway, I saw them perform during our lock-in for Joplin last night. They were so good! My personal favorite songs were Honestly and Sleepless. On a similar note, I attended a lock-in to raise money for the victims of the recent Joplin tornado. It was a really great cause, and a very fun night. Thanks to all the teachers who dealt with us sleep-deprived loopy teenagers, and to everyone who helped make the lock-in possible!

Now, movies. I just saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4, On Stranger Tides. In my opinion, despite the sad lack of Orlando Bloom, it was the best Pirates movie yet. No confusing subplots, like in 2 and 3, plus it showed Jack Sparrow's softer side. Not too soft, mind you, but soft enough. Five out of five stars!

Other than that, I've been so preoccupied with the end of the year stuff and moving and Girls Camp (next week!) that I really haven't been reading much... Shocking, I know. So I guess that's it for this incredibly brief and slightly rambling anecdote. Bye!
