Bored Ramblings

I'm SO BORED!!! So now, you get to be bored with me! :D hahahahaha!
So, last night was the church mock prom. I got an AH-MAZING dress at the DAV thrift store for $8, and it was awesome! think Belle's gold dress without the flooffy skirt and in purple. It was so pretty! I looked FABULOUS! If I could figure out how to load the pictures off of my camera, I would, but I can't, so I won't. Anyway, the dance was fun. It would've been better if a certain someone hadn't abandoned me to wolves (read, lovebirds). Other than that, there was a chocolate fountain and a caramel fountain in which you could dip everything you wanted into it (strawberries, angel food cake, pineapple, pretzels, marshmallows...).

That was fun. The music was terrible, of course. That's what happens when you let 30+ year olds pick the music. It wasn't pretty. Jk, it was OKAY(ish).

It reminded me that you people, who would be lost without me, needed some musical advice. Let's begin.

1) Forget You by Cee Lo Green. It's an awesome break up song. You may have heard the Glee version, but trust me, listen to this one. Oh, but be careful! There is another version (by the same guy) that is a little more... explicit.
2) All Again for You by We The Kings. This song is... okay, why am I listening to songs about breakups? weird... But it's a great song! It really is!
3) Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. It is so... pawesome! (punk+awesome=pawsome)
4) Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind. It's that song that goes 'doo doo doo doo doo do doo' You know?
5) Who We Are by Hope Paltrow. It is such an empowering song. I've been listening to it while I walk down the halls. It makes me feel like I'm in a movie when I do that...

Okay, done rambling now. Bye-Bye!

Books Review

Okay, I just read the best book. It's called The Hollow by Jessica Verday. It's almost a gothic novel in the way it's written, and it's so difficult to describe, you'll just have to read it for yourselves. I'm trying to find its sequel, The Haunted, so I can read it too... Soooooo excited! You can feel that school's coming to a close. Everyone's so ADD in class it's almost like we're not even in school. Lunch is crazy loud, and passing period? Forget it! There's no way I can go more than two feet without someone calling my name. I really love this school. I was so nervous when I first started, and look at me now. Most of my friends are upper classmen. I have a couple enemies, and enough drama from my friends to fill the state of Alaska. It's almost like Degrassi... except not at all. I love all my friends, and even though I miss Liberty, I wouldn't trade right now for the world. I'm ridiculously happy. You can taste summer in the air. Mother Nature is definetly taunting me, alterating hot and cold like she is. One day, I'm going to get that woman on some mood-stabalizers. Other than that, Sister K just gave me some clothes, and I'm in love with them! :-) I've been looking healthier lately, maybe because I'm starting to sleep like a normal person. Okay, so maybe I only sleep five hours a night, but that's two hours more than I used to get, and you can tell. I'm in a better mood lately, too. I'm not sure why, maybe the good weather, maybe some new friends, but something's different and I'm definetly happier than I've been in a long time. It feels good to feel this good. I'm pretty excited for mock Prom at church tomorrow night, there's going to be a chocolate fountain (that explains my excitement, doesn't it now?). Oh! Last week, Christian, Brionna, Bridgette, and I all went to the movies. It was so nice to just get away from it all for a while, and it set me in a great mood for the rest of the week. We saw Source Code, which was best described by Christian. "So, at first you're kind of 'huh?' and then in the second part you're *blowing up sound effects*". Yup, that's the film! So, tonight is Matt's birthday!!! Happy b-day homie! (yeah, I just said homie. How gansta am I?) We're all going to the movies tonight, and I'm pumped. I've already got what I'm wearing on (orange-red Old Navy shirt with dark-wash skinnys from Deliah's), but I'm going back and forth on makeup.I'll figure it out... eventually. My hair has been absolutely uncontrollable lately. I've been keeping it pulled back because if it isn't, it might eat someone. That wouldn't be good, unless it was River. (jk, buddy. <3 u!) But yeah, it's all OVER the place, sticking up in so many different directions it looks like an over-complicated compass. Ridiculous, but true. *shrug* Thank goodness for ponytails. Ice cream truck just came by!!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!! I told my friend Caitlyn (I don't know if I spelled it right) to check out this blog for books, not telling her it was mine. All I said was "I get all my books from her!" Well, I do! Since I'm the blogger, I get all my books from me. Hahahaha! I'm evil... >=-) I guess that's all for now... I've kind of rambled on a bit.
