HeHe

Hehehe! Check out this picture...

Dad saw it once when he was substituting, and I just spent fifteen minutes on Google searching for it. And you know what? Totally worth it.

Let's see, what else has happened.... Oh yes. I slept over at Noelle's this weekend. It was awesome. I watched Titanic and cried. Not like the loud obnoxious crying, but the silent glittery tears. The one time I cry prettily, and EVERYONE'S ASLEEP! (I did mention it was at 2:00 in the morning, right?)

The next day we went to Fall Festival, where great fun was had by all.

Weekend before that I went with Amanda to World's of Fun. I rode the Mamba twice in a row, and then got on the Zumba. FYI, going on a ride that spins you vertically after riding a coaster that takes you so high that it need one of those airplane warning lights on it is a BAD idea. Essentially, I hurled. Still had an awesome time though!

This Saturday is Homecoming, so I need to improve a few things. First, and most important, I need to talk to Coach Boomer about my homework. He's never there when I stop by, but I'll try again tomorrow during advisory. If I don't bring up that grade, no dance for me. Second, I have to kill the dark circles under my eyes. Dude, the bags are big enough to pack my entire wardrobe in them. Ugh. It isn't a good thing when you're as white as I am to have huge bruise like circles under your eyes. Third, I need to swing back by Noelle's to pick up my bags and heels for the dance, which, like an airhead, I left there!

Hope you all are enjoying the newly cool weather as much as I am! I love long sleeves because they cover most of the rosacea on my arms and I just look great in them. Speaking of looking great, I saw a sister from our old ward at the Festival, and she asked if I'd been eating. Turns out I look like I've lost weight! I'm not sure if it's my new running regime, or my latest growth spurt *5'8"*, but hey, it rocks!

Close to Heaven

Allow me to sell you an eightball. I realized I hadn't done a music review for some time, if at all (I was too lazy to check), so here goes nothing.
Eight Songs You Must Hear:
1.Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars: This song was the theme to 2010's Tour de France, and my official Playing Solitaire song (for obvious reasons).
2.Weightless by All Time Low: This is my Freshman year theme song. Basically, my new creed is: maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year.
3.I Know You Know by the Friendly Indians: The Pysch theme song. It is awesome on so many levels, and is only 1:11 long.
4.Hello Brooklyn by All Time Low: A great pump-up song. I listen to this when I run since it has a bass line similar to my heart rate. My favorite line from it: "heels on the sidewalk beggin' for a back beat".
5.Poison by Groove Coverage: Despite the band's lame name, this song has a great beat to it. It makes me want to get up and dance in a room lit by nothing but strobe lights and filled with dry ice smoke.
6.This Town by O.A.R: An awesome song about just taking a town by storm. If you liked Shattered, you'll love this song. It has the same sound that we all love, but with a more in-your-face attitude.
7.Vegas by Sara Bareilles: This basically describes me. Wanna sell my car and go to Vegas, quit my job and move to New York, sell my house and cross the border, and loose my mind and sail the ocean.
8.Barbie Girl by Aqua: Okay, this song is just so ridiculous, you can help but sing along. One of my friends is going to wake up very soon with their entire iPod filled with this song, under different names. :D

I finally found a dress for Homecoming. Muchos gracias to Ana, who gave it to me. It's absolutely beautiful, and I hope to be posting photos soon. Until then, I will tell you nothing about its apperance. You'll be driven mad by curiosity, I'm certain.

At this moment, I'm pretty close to heaven. I feel a new chapter coming on for the as of yet Unnamed Manuscript, I have some chocolate, and I'm listening to Glee. I'm warm, happy, and reasonably healthy. Yeah, life is good.

Hello Kitty Sushi and other Internet Adventures

I love this photo. For whatever reason, I find myself suddenly in love with everything Hello Kitty.
So it's been pretty uneventful around here. It's starting to cool down as fall approaches, which is good. It feels wrong to go to school when the National Weather Service is issuing heat warnings. Other than a very fun trip to Nelson Atkins (see my facebook for an excessive number of pictures) I have had no life the past few weeks. My day-to-day activities include: terrorizing upperclassmen simply because I can, adding at least two pages a day to my unnamed manuscript, drinking Dr. Pepper like water, and watching episodes of the Office (I'm on season 5!) on mom's computer when she lets me.

Speaking of computers, I suppose something cool did happen to me. Our school issued out laptops, and if I use my home wi-fi I can check facebook, update my blog (which is why I'm writing this from the comfort of my own bedroom), and play games. Unfortunately, at school, it isn't so. Practically everything is off-limits excluding the school webpage. This is more than a little irritating, but hey, I'll live.

I haven't read much since school began, I've been busy, but the Green Lantern comics are surprisingly good. I highly recommend them.
