I started this blog as one of the 97 things I have to do before high school is over. So here goes nothing.
I think this blog will review one book a week, and this week I choose... Goddess of the Night by Lynne Ewing. Book 1 of the Daughters of the Moon series, it was really good and got me hooked on the whole series. It is set in L.A. and centers around four girls: Catty, Vanessa, Serena, and Jimena. They discover they are Daughters of the moon goddess Selene, and they must fight the most ancient evil, the Atrox. The first book details Vanessa's journey as she accepts the fact that she is a goddess.
I enjoyed this book immensely and would recommend it to anyone found of fantasy/supernatural novels. Lynne Ewing has also written a companion series, Sons of Darkness, which is my next series project.
